Umeå Open is the name of an award winning annual indie music festival that usually takes place at Umeå, Västerbotten, in Sweden.
Over the years a plethora of different bands have featured at this festival. Not just Swedish acts like Jens Lekman, José González & The Haunted, but also international acts from a variety of genre’s. Bands like Interpol, Turbonegro, Le Tigre & Teenage Fanclub.
