Lesser Matters

Lesser Matters (Album: CD / Maxi / 12 inch Vinyl LP)

Background Information

Lesser Matters was the debut studio album from The Radio Dept.
It was initially released in Sweden on Labrador records in 2003. After some success in Sweden, Shelflife records offered to distribute the album in the USA. The 2003 release was supported by a short N. American tour. Lesser Matters was distributed around Europe through XL records and was released on vinyl in 2004.
Lesser matters received many accolades and positive reviews, most notably making the NME's 'top 50 albums of 2004' list, at number 9.

On this album The Radio Dept. was Johan Duncanson, Martin Larsson, Per Blomgren and Lisa Carlberg. All songs were recorded at Möllan Studio's, Sweden.
Original band member, Elin Almered, returned for a brief cameo on this record. She provided the vocals for 'Strange things will happen' and also produced the painting that later became the artwork for the album.
